—–”Xenbucin and a bit of sleep and he’ll b…” The words trailed off as he tried to reach up to rub his temple, eyes still closed. The needle in his arm dug deeper into his vein, causing him to stop. His eyelids were like anvils, his chin a violent throbbing, tubes were across his face, and he couldn’t open his mouth to speak.
—–He finally managed to open his eyelids to see a thin layer of light before two shapes came into focus. ‘The med-bay? Must be,’ his thoughts were sluggish and distant.
